Steps to Developing A Bible Reading Plan

- Start small
It can be pretty overwhelming when you start your Bible reading journey, so be kind to yourself and take small steps! Even setting aside just 5 minutes a day to read a few passages can help you get into a good habit.
- Set aside a time
Having a dedicated slot of time each day, say, after lunch or before dinner, is a great way to ensure that you get a bit of reading in each day.
- Use an app
There are plenty of apps that allow you to choose how you want to read the Bible and help you stick to it.
Keeping a journal of your thoughts as you progress through the Bible will help you stay on track and remember the lessons that you have taken away.
- Don’t beat yourself up
Missing a few readings here and there doesn’t mean you’re a bad person! Just pick up where you left off when you have the time. This also applies if you find your mind wandering.
Just re-focus and bring your thoughts back to the words in front of you.
